MATERIALS: aluminum, steel, cherry wood

ARTIST'S COMMENTS: My concept for this timepiece was daybreak or sunset. I chose daybreak - that's my favorite time of day.

The rustic cherry wood was the initial inspiration (original sawmill marks are still present). The sunburst is forged aluminum and the face is cold forged steel with welded numbers.
